Overview

For the Vietnam market, Sunseap CMX RE is a joint venture between InfraCo Asia and EDPR APAC which provides the following services: Solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services.

Sunseap CMX RE was set up to invest and manage solar photovoltaic projects in Vietnam in line with the government's goal of reducing reliance on coal-powered energy plants and to improve the reliability of the local energy supply, in meeting the growing energy demands of the country.

In June of 2019, Sunseap CMX RE completed a US$150 million utility-scale solar farm located in Ninh Thuan Province with a system size of 168MWp, ahead of schedule. This ground-breaking project, one of the largest in Vietnam, serves to improve grid reliability and provide jobs for the local community in managing, operating and maintaining photovoltaic systems.
