Contribute to decarbonisation in every country where we operate
Target 1: Energy
25% energy intensity per capita reduction by 2025 (2019 base year). |
Target 2: Climate Change
25% GHG emissions intensity per capita reduction by 2025 (2019 base year). |
Target 3: End of Life Solar Panels
90% recycling rate of raw materials used in production, scrapped PV modules and inverters by 2025 (including re purposing PV panels to become floating panels). | |
12%-16% reduction in waste intensity by 2025 (2019 base year) [other waste targets for GRI 306 disclosures]. |

Innovation
Drive adoption of innovation across our clean energy value chain
Target 1: Technological Innovation
1. To work with suppliers to adopt technologies and innovations that progress towards a carbon neutral supply chain. | |
2. To emphasise on sustainability aspects in the design and development of products and services in the supply chain. | |
3. To enhance monitoring of R&D investments in EDPR APAC's supply chain and services. | |
4. To build multi stakeholders relationships for R&D initiatives. |
Target 2: Changes in Policies, Tax, RECs, and Standards
1. Stay abreast, and be involved with, changing policies, carbon tax, RECs regulations and standards set. | |
2. To increase capacity of RECs to meet increasing demand from customers, remain flexible and nimble to respond to market changes quickly, have robust management systems in place to enable this. |

Social Impact
Enhance the livelihood of local communities and employees in every country where we operate
Target 1: Responsible Business Ethics and Practices
ZERO legal Infringements & Corrupt Practices. |
Target 2: Health and Safety
ZERO fatality rate. |
Target 3: Supplier Social and Environmental Impacts
100% of primary supply chain suppliers (PV panels, inverters, solar tech, etc.) screened using EDPR APAC's social and environmental criteria (e.g. Supplier Procurement Principles/Policies) by 2025. | |
To encourage and guide all suppliers to have policies and measures in place to be aligned with EDPR APAC's Sustainability Principles by 2030. |
